12:01am on Wednesday. Today is the day I'll be leaving to go to the monastery. I wish it wasn't raining, & the forecast is for rain for the next 14 days. It always seems to rain when I move.

My dog seems to know I'll be going. He's been much more clingy than usual. It's nice, since I'll miss him more that anything, but also I wonder if he really does have some intuition that I'm leaving, then he'll probably miss me as well. That's hard to think about.

I had 6 rolls of film developed tonight! I had been carrying around these rolls of film for a couple of years. Didn't even remember what was on them. If you want to know, you'll have to ask, as when I saw them, I can't say I remember being there. Or if I do, there's a few things in those pics that I don't remember looking at through the lens!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to finally moving on. This has been a long process. I'm having my last bottle of wine & last pack of smokes, listening to Coast to Coast & having a good time.

Yesterday was the last day of work at Bay Books in Monterey! Moving on now. I have some time to get out what I want to get out before moving to Tassajara.
